Was at upper pierce reserviour today. Flash out my Nikon D90 and attempt to take a few shots of my ride. Weather is good and evening sun is perfect for photo taking. Should have washed the car before the photo shoot but due to time constraint, this is the only time i have for a quick shoot.
The place was quiet and there are a few cars around on a sunday evening. Some cars are with engine switched on and one even have newspapers all over its windows. Hmm.. wonder what was behind those papers....
Saw a few monkeys out to salvage for food. :-)

Finally got my new rims and tires for my ride. Ordered Advan Racing RS but seems that the Japan factory is not producing RS this month. Instead RZ. Decided to go for this instead of waiting for another 2 months.
Preferred Michelin Pilot Preceda over Bridgestone RE001. Though the PP2 is made in Thailand, it shouldn't matter as it is quite a quiet performance tire.
Advan Racing rim cap only comes with bronze/silver. Hence, it will not be nice on a dark gun metallic rim. Hence, decided not to have it but sprayed black.

Near complete stock Black FD1A. Born 28082009 4.30pm @ Kah Motor (Leng Kee).Added Mugen Visor. Stock Rims on loan from Leong Seng Auto (Ubi). Pending arrival of Yokohama Advan Racing RZ Dark Gun Metal and Michelin Pilot Preceda 2. 215/45/17!
The ride on FD1A is great! Comfortable and ample space.
Tinted headlamps and foldable rear seat rest for additional boot space, if needed. Glove box with lighting, and remote boot opening via key mobiliser. Honda paint is terribly thin. Can see hologram/swirl marks if you focus on the surface closely under strong lighting. Have yet to find a solution. Furthermore, bird's poo poo is really hard to remove and it really 'eats' into the paintwork easily!!!
More updates once i have those new shoes on!!Monday, April 13, 2009
