Good bye to Bridgestone Turanza GR80! Utilised for about 3 years. So far, it is quite reliable with good grip during wet and dry weather. Noise level, still acceptable as it is considered quiet. The tire exterior print is well defined as compared to Made in Thailand's Michelin PP2 (just my personal opinion).
Welcome Michelin PP2 (Thai Made). Similarly, good grip for wet and dry weather. Noise level, very quiet. Perhaps, it is still new. Price wise, it is slightly more expensive than GR80. S$160 per tire. While Gr80 cost at S$150 per tire. Don't understand why made in thailand tire is more expensive than made in japan tire. Tire size : 205-50-R16. Can see that the thread seems better than the GR80 with better aqua panning for the PP2. Tire air pressure 240kpa which gives better rolling and lighter steering. Air pressure for tire is VERY important as under inflate will cause more wear at the edge of tire (as proven in my GR80).
